Missouri Department of Natural Resources Open Burning Permits
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources
has updated their Open
Burning permit form. It can be downloaded
here. Or you can fill out and print an on-line
form.

Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free, to view and print
the file.)
All permit requests must be reviewed by the Fire Prevention Bureau of the South Metro Fire Protection District. Please contact the Prevention Bureau during normal business hours at (816) 331 3008 for information on having a burning permit reviewed.
The Missouri DNR produces a Fact Sheet, containing information about allowed types of Open Burning. For the purposes of the DNR the entire South Metro Fire District is in the "Kansas City Metropolitan Area".
