The Firefighters of South Metro are proud members of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 3112 Local 3112 of the IAFF represents the Firefighters and Officers of the South Metropolitan Fire Protection District. Although there is no Collective Bargaining, the Union and the District have a Memorandum of Understanding that governs employment issues. The members of Local 3112 and the management of the District have an excellent working relationship. Local 3112 also takes pride in the District and works to support the district as well has protect the needs of it's members. The firefighters of Local 3112 raised $3803 during our anual MDA boot block. We would like to thank all those who contributed Local 3112 recently raised and donated over $4200 for the purchase of a "Safety House" for use in fire safety education. Also the Local has donated money for the purchase of Advanced Airway Equipment cases for all three of the District's ambulances.
